Itinerary

Spend your Christmas holiday for 8 days in the Egyptian cities of Cairo, Aswan, and Luxor

• 1st Day: International arrival

  Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met by our Egyvel representative, who will assist you at the airport, then he will accompany you to your hotel for a smooth check-in.

  Overnight in Cairo

• 2nd Day: Pyramids and Cairo Tour \ Train to Aswan

  Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, then you will meet your personal Egyptologist guide to start your full-day tour to visit the Great Pyramids of Giza of Kings Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus, and you will see also the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple. After that, you will be transferred to the Old Cairo in the Coptic part to visit the Hanging Church, the Church of Abu Serga, and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Then you will transfer to visit the magnificent Egyptian Museum to enjoy watching a superb rare collection of Egyptian antiquities. In the end, you will transfer to visit Khan El Khalil bazaar before transfer to Giza railway station to catch your train to Aswan.

  The lunch will be served at good quality local restaurant during the tour.

• 3rd Day: Aswan Tour \ Embarkation at the Nile Cruise

  Enjoy your breakfast onboard the train before reach to Aswan, and at Aswan railway station you will be met by Egyvel representative who will accompany you to embarkation at your Nile Cruise ship, after the lunch onboard the cruise, you will meet your tour guide to start your sightseeing tour by visit:

  The High Dam: One of the most important giant projects in Egypt to generate electricity in the 20^th century

  Philae Temple: the amazing temple built for goddess Isis in the third century B.C.

  The Unfinished Obelisk: which is found in the granite quarries in Aswan

  Overnight onboard the cruise

• 4th Day: Kom Ombo & Edfu

  On this day, the cruise ship will start sailing to stop first in Kom Ombo city where you will visit one of the best and beautiful temples in Egypt which built to worship the Sobek god and Haroeris god, then back to the cruise to continue the sailing to stop in another city called Edfu where you will go to visit the Temple of Horus god, the best well-preserved temple in Egypt.

• 5th Day: Luxor West Bank

  In the early morning, the cruise ship will start sailing to Luxor, and after having breakfast aboard the cruise, you will start your sightseeing tour on the west bank of the Nile River to visit:

  The Valley of the Kings: Where more than 60 pharaoh kings were buried.

  The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut: which is built during the 18^th Dynasty by one of the most powerful queens who ruled Egypt in ancient times.

  Colossi of Memnon: The famous 2 statues for King Amenhotep III.

  Overnight onboard the cruise

  Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

• 6th Day: Luxor East Bank \ Train to Cairo

  You will make disembarkation from the cruise ship after having your breakfast onboard, then you will start your tour to visit the Karnak Temples Complex and Luxor Temple.

  After that, you will transfer to a good quality local restaurant for lunch before transfer to Luxor railway station to catch your sleeping train back to Cairo.

• 7th Day: Free Day \ Optional Sakkara & Memphis Tour

  At Cairo railway station, you will be met by your tour leader who will take you to your hotel for check-in. Have a free time at your hotel or you can join our amazing tour to visit the Step Pyramid of King Djoser at Sakkara, and the open-air Museum of Memphis the first Egyptian Capital during the old kingdom in ancient times.

• 8th Day: Final Departure

  Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, and later you will meet your tour leader to transfer to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.
